sweet curry hummus

Easy, healthy, gluten free, vegan, mild, sweet: what’s not to love about this naturally sweetened curry hummus?


  • 2 cans chickpeas (drained and rinsed) or 3 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1 cup canola or olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup tahini or sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup date paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric


  1. Place all ingredients in blender or food processor.
  2. Start on low then turn to high speed. Blend or process until smooth.
  3. Transfer to a sealable container and store in the fridge.


  • Serving Size: 2 tbsp
